Low-carbon hydrogen has had a false start, with serious consequences for many players in the industry.

But solar power took decades to take off, and electric vehicles went through several false starts. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞-𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.

At Haffner Energy, we are convinced that 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧.

And bringing our hydrogen to market, rather than simply demonstrating its production, 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.

This is precisely what the hydrogen refueling station supplied by Hydrogen Refueling Solutions, to be installed at Marolles in 2027, will enable us to do. (See our press release dated September 30, 2026)

Recurring revenues matter, but they are secondary to the main objective: 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐬.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧.

Hydrogen for fuel cells requires extremely high purity levels. Producing and selling it on a daily basis will also demonstrate the technological expertise underpinning our other production pathways: 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞, 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐥, 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐀𝐅.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

We intend to bring visibility to a pathway that remains far too little known by the market and provide 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥.

Because the real proof is not just technological. Above all, it is economic.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐦𝐩. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.
