by Philippe Haffner, CEO of Haffner Energy
With H6, we have fundamentally redesigned our technology to make it simpler, more robust and, above all, significantly more competitive. What remained was to demonstrate that this new generation would perform at industrial scale as we had modelled. This has now been achieved for syngas production, with results that meet our expectations.

H6’s competitiveness now enables us to target markets that, until now, had been difficult to access for economic reasons.
The opportunities are numerous and 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞: renewable methane, methanol, green hydrogen, as well as 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This last market is now taking on considerable importance with the growth of data centers, which simultaneously require security, availability, rapid deployment and decarbonization.
H6 provides Haffner Energy with a technology platform that is ready to be commercialized without delay.
After several years of development and the experience gained from previous generations, I am particularly excited about the opportunities now opening up for Haffner Energy.
The work continues. But an essential milestone has just been reached.
To the best of my knowledge, there is currently no directly comparable technology on the market capable of delivering, from biomass, such a combination of flexibility, competitiveness and diversity of energy applications.
The market now opening up to us is therefore considerable — far larger than the one we were targeting at the time of our IPO.
